It may have been quiet on the SB front for the last few months, but fear not, the Blue are back in full swing.

Having taken a well deserved break the band are back in the studio laying down tracks for the forthcoming sampler album, highlights of which will be posted on the website in the coming months.

Tracks will include; The Bath Song, London Town, Sunshine Kid and the now legendary Cowboy Song.

Satchel Blue took to the stage at the Wharf Bar in Walsall.

The four band line up required "The Blue" to restrict their set list to only 30 minutes - but what a set it was!

Satchel Blue took on the Maverick in Amblecoat, Stourbridge on Friday 6th May.

The gig was an overwhelming success, despite an impromptu stand up performance by Andy to fill the pause in the set caused by the failure of the guitar amp.

A sustitute was quickly bought on to ensure full power returned for the grand finale.

The audience demanded more, and got more with a full reprise of the cowboy song.

On Sunday 20th March Satchel Blue played at the Old Mill in Northfield supported by Musical Soul featuring James Swallow

Back by popular demand, Satchel Blue headlined a festive concert at Scruffy Murphy's in Birmingham town centre.

Supported by Tom Burbridge and Nigel Brookes the gig was a roaring success featuring the first performance of Laura's debut piece "Escape".
