Words: J. Thornett
You shoot your guns and plant your bombs
You own up then carry on
You terrorise this peaceful night
And all for this cause you fight
You wear the flag from your country
Your homeland that you want free
But all the while your people die
And all for this cause you fight
You sacrifice innocent lives
Peacefully sleeping in the night
When morning comes with children dead
You go back to sleep in your bed
When you were young did you get told
What to do when you were old
Did your father take your hand
And guide you around the land
So what is it that you've achieved
All this torture, all this grief
Seen in new light, your armoured might
And all for this cause you fight
Now this city is your playground
Your destruction all around
Are you smiling at our plight
And all for this cause you fight
